For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.
I have so much to be thankful for each and every day of the year but since we in America are celebrating Thanksgiving today, I thought I would give thanks for a few of the most important things I am thankful for this year.
1.) My health/happiness/job/home/car - small things most always take for granted.
2.) A positive outlook on life - it has helped me overcome some huge hurdles.
3.) My friends & family: both near and far - one day I'll be celebrating with my own loved ones again.
4.) Every opportunity given to me to shine. Being able to succeed at doing what you love is one of the best feelings.
5.) Social Networks/Twitter - without it I wouldn't be able to reach so many amazing people! I've made some fabulous new friends via these networks and it's so special.
6.) My new niece who was born on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing her in March!
7.) Living in California - it's thousands of miles away from home has it's challenges but living here has given me some amazing, amazing opportunities I wouldn't have had otherwise.
8.) My fiance - he knows how hard it is being so far away from my family, especially during the holidays. And he does his absolute best to make me feel loved.
I hope all of you are celebrating Thanksgiving (if you celebrate this holiday) with your loved ones. If not, I'm right there with you ;]
Please leave what you're grateful for this year in the comment section if you want to.
