: If You Don't Give Back No One Will Like You

I might be kidding about the 'no one will like you' bit. And maybe I should be kidding so no one gets offended. But you know what? I feel so much better about myself when I do what I can to help a good cause and have a feeling you would too! Moving on...

I'm not the kind of person who likes to ask anything of anybody & asking for money isn't easy, but I really need your help in reaching my goals. If I could do it all on my own, I would. But let's not kid ourselves I am not made of millions... even thousands... okay, not even hundreds.

I currently support 12 equally important causes on Crowdrise and encourage you to take a moment to learn more about them. If you find yourself feeling the need to donate to any of them, please do. $5, $10, $100... it all helps.

I know most people would rather buy their soy, skinny bitch mocha-shacka-latta lattes, gossip magazines, or 10th car but what good could they possibly be bringing to the world? All you'll get is a fatter ass, a less educated mind, and more pollution. Why not do something positive for OTHERS? Why not try being selfless for once?

If you're really that stingy or greedy, there are instances that you could possibly win something in return for your donations. For example:

  • if you donate to my Global Green project you are entered in the running to win an iChat with Sophia Bush & Austin Nicholls of One Tree Hill.
  • if you sign up, upload a user pic and join my team, I'll be entered to win a $500 Zappos Gift Card which I would of course give to you

If you simply can't bare to spare with your cash (sometimes I am unable to, so I understand) then please spread the word about the causes I support or any others you feel need more attention. Blog about them. Tweet about them. E-mail friends and family. Link to the them on Facebook. Just DO SOMETHING!

On a final note, I am only $29 away from receiving a Crowdrise Hoody and T-shirt for my Art of Elysium project. Once I raise $199 those babies are mine. If you can, please donate.

Thanks to everyone who has already donated/supported these projects. It means more to mean than you'll ever know!! If you have any questions/concerns please don't hesitate to contact me via my blog, Twitter, or Facebook.

  1. You are doing an amazing thing with being at Crowdrise. I am very proud of you!

Elise Marie (from Norway) also Crowdriser

  2. I know what you mean by this. You're being so selfless. Bless you!

There's a link on my blog wherein you can donate rice by merely playing online vocabulary games. I've donated over 3,000 grains of rice for the World Food Program.

It's better to give than the receive.
