: Anyone can start today and make a new ending

Life has been a struggle for me lately. Why, you ask? A variety of reasons. I'm not happy with myself in many respects. Some of my friendships aren't exactly panning out how I had hoped. Money is a huge issue right now. I miss my family. I'm not as creative as I used to be. I'm sure this list could go on. But rather than focus on what's 'going wrong' I figure it's more beneficial to find ways to make things better. Or at least bearable.

I thought the best way to do this would be to make a list of things I really miss or really want to do more of. Here we go!

1. I want to take more photos; I used to take photos of everything… nature, friends, myself, food. It's the best way to remember events and photos are always a nice way to spruce up blog/journal entries. Everyone loves photos!

2. I want to travel more; this clearly relies on having a budget and right now there is no way I can put money towards any trips. Making this happen may require me getting a second job (hopefully modeling jobs), and I don't think that's necessarily a negative.

3. I want to be more creative; Expressing myself is important to me. I used to do it in so many ways, and lately I haven't done it at all. I want to allow myself the time to write again. I need to re-learn my make-up techniques so I can explore that world more. I need to spruce up my Photoshop and HTML.

4. I want to be more active; I could always use more exercise and want to try out more classes like yoga, zumba, weight training and dance. I want to start playing basketball again (which means bye-bye acrylic nails). I just want to get out more… be it to a bar/nightclub, a friends house, walking down cute streets, taking cooking classes, etc. Sitting on my butt in the apartment all of the time doesn't help my mood.

It's a lot and I know I won't be able to tackle it all at once but I am hopeful to start making things happen. The best way to do this is to form habits, which usually take 21 days to form. If I get into the habit of doing some of these things, they will get done. It's as simple as that but I think I tend to make it more difficult than it has to be. Oh, to be human!

I know I can succeed, it's all about having the right attitude.

  1. I wish i can be just as happy as you want to be as well.

    I have so many ..flaws that I need to fix but im scared of even accepting them.

    and last but not least. Lolster you'll be fine. with the kind of strength and effort you have.. youll see in years from now and look back and realize the huge impact.
