Completely Heart-Broken

Tragedies, they happen too often and unfortunately we cannot escape them. We can, however, do our best to help support those affected by them. In this case I am talking about the Berry Family who were involved in a head-on collision earlier this month. The parents were killed, leaving behind their three children: 9-year-old Peter, 8-year-old Aaron and 6-year-old Willa. Willa only suffered a couple of broken bones but the boys' injuries are so severe that they may never regain mobility in their legs.

This all happened because one man was too impatient and decided to try and pass the vehicle in front of him. Are you kidding me? I can't help but feel more outraged than sad right now. I'm always stressing the importance of responsible driving and "yell" at any friend or family I see using their phones while driving. I don't believe people truly understand the dangers of distracted or impatient driving. Well, wake up people. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS. You leave three young children without parents. You leave two young boys paralyzed from the waist down. You kill your passenger (who I am assuming was his wife).

I could go on and on but I won't. I'm writing this to inform you all that these children are in need of your assistance. A fund/trust has been started in their honor to help with short-term and long-term medical care, education and overall wellness.
