What I'm Loving Wednesday!

The last WILW I wrote about how it was almost Christmas and now? It's all over. I'm sad. The older I get, the faster the Holidays go by and it doesn't make for a happy Lolly. Nevertheless, there are always things to be grateful for and to love. Here we go!

My nephew. It's incredible how much joy a child can bring to your life. We spent the last week watching him while his parents wrapped up everything for their restaurant that opens this weekend. Today is the first day of not watching him and it feels weird. I miss him already!

Los Angeles Vaca. About this time next week I'll be on my way to Los Angeles for the most fabulous start to the new year. On Thursday I'll be attending An Evening with One Tree Hill where a select number of fans get to see a pre-screening of the new season along with many of the cast members. There will be some Q&A and I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity to experience it. I know there's going to be a lot of laughter and tears. I'll also be down there for the Team True Beauty event where I'll be walking the red carpet, socializing with some of the most influential and empowering women I know, and meeting some of my favorite friends I know on Twitter. I cannot wait to see these girls!

Break from Work. This is something I'm loving but not loving at the same time. A and I both took the last week and a half off of this year so we could simply take a break from the stresses at work and also to watch Jasper. Unfortunately, I've had to spend some hours of my vacation working —granted it's from home, which is nice, but it hasn't helped my stress levels at all. It's day 8 of this 'break' and I haven't had a chance to relax yet. It doesn't help that there is so much to do for work and knowing that I'll only have 3 days in the office before I leave for LA.

My fiancé. I've never met someone so accepting of who I am. We've been to the depths of hell and back with each other and though we're still going through some rough times, he remains as patient as possible. He has a heart of gold and I'm very lucky that he loves me.
